Google Business Profile management: posts, photos and reviews, handled every week

Your profile is often the first thing people see when they search for you, and the map is where a lot of local customers decide. I set it up properly, keep it posting every week and answer every review, for £500 ($649) a month.

The plan

One plan, £500 ($649) a month

Set up properly in the first month, then kept active every week. No setup fee.

£500$649 a month

  • Set-up and optimisation in month one: categories, services, products, description, hours, service area and attributes checked against what you actually do, and photos audited
  • A Google post every week: offers, updates and recent jobs, written for you and published on your profile
  • Fresh photos every month from what you send me, named and uploaded properly
  • Every review answered, usually within two working days, good or bad, in your voice
  • More reviews coming in: a short review link, a printable QR card and message templates you can send customers
  • Your listing watched: unwanted edits from Google or the public spotted and corrected
  • Help with verification and suspension appeals if your profile gets stuck (Google makes the final call)
Hand over your profile

01 The problem

Most profiles get set up once and then left

Google says the information on your profile, and your reviews, feed into how prominent you are in local results. A profile nobody touches gives it very little to go on.

Half filled in

Wrong primary category, no services listed, old hours and a description written in five minutes years ago.

Reviews with no replies

A string of unanswered reviews, including the one bad one everyone reads first.

Nothing new since launch

No posts, the same six photos, and nothing to show you’re still trading and busy.

02 Who it’s for

Local businesses people find on the map

Trades and home services

Plumbers, electricians, builders, cleaners and anyone who works across a service area and gets called from the map.

Shops, clinics and venues

Cafés, salons, practices and studios where people search, check the reviews and walk in.

Owners with no time for it

You know the profile matters, you just never get round to posting, photos or replying to reviews.

Probably not the right fit if

  • Your business is online only and never meets customers in person. Google doesn’t allow profiles for those.
  • You want fake reviews, a keyword-stuffed business name or a virtual office address. All three break Google’s rules and risk suspension.

03 The monthly plan

Need the website looked after too?

One monthly fee for the website and the SEO. No setup fee and no minimum term. If the website needs work too, a website plan covers that alongside your profile. Ask and I’ll quote the two together.

Tell me what you need and the budget you have. I’ll say what that buys and put it in writing before you commit.

  • Scoped to your site, not a template
  • One-off, a fixed run of months, or a mix
  • A written quote, usually within a working day

05 What’s included

What a normal month looks like

Citations, map rank tracking and a monthly report aren’t part of this plan. Ask if you want them added.

  • Four or five posts, one a week, planned around what you’re doing that month
  • A batch of new photos from what you send, uploaded with sensible file names
  • Every new review answered, and any tricky ones talked through with you first
  • The listing checked for unwanted edits, and hours updated for bank holidays

“Working with Mike has been fantastic. I have a limited understanding of SEO, but don’t have the time to learn more about it or try and work it into our website. Communication since starting work with Mike has been great. Our SEO score has really improved, hopefully with time this will result in more leads through our website.”

08 Questions

Google Business Profile questions

What is Google Business Profile management?

Looking after the listing that shows for your business on Google Search and Maps: keeping the details accurate, posting updates, adding photos and replying to reviews, week in, week out.

How much does Google Business Profile management cost?

Here it’s £500 ($649) a month, with set-up and optimisation included in the first month and no setup fee.

Is Google Business Profile free?

Yes. The profile itself costs nothing. What you pay for is someone’s time to keep it complete, current and answered.

Do I have to give you ownership of my profile?

No. You add me as a manager and stay the owner, so you can remove my access whenever you like.

How do I add you as a manager?

Open your profile on Google, go to Business Profile settings → People and access → Add, enter my email and choose Manager. Google’s help page on adding owners and managers walks through it.

Can you get my profile verified or unsuspended?

I’ll prepare and send the verification or appeal with the evidence Google asks for, and fix whatever caused the problem. Google makes the decision, so no one can promise the outcome.

Will this get me into the map pack?

Nobody can guarantee a position. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence, and distance is out of anyone’s hands. A complete, active profile with a steady stream of answered reviews is what you can control.

Can you write my reviews for me?

No. Fake reviews break Google’s rules and can get a profile suspended. I make it easy to ask real customers, and I reply to every review that comes in.

Start with a free SEO audit

Send me your site and you’ll get a short, honest read on what’s wrong. If you want the detail after that, the full audit is a paid piece of work, or part of a monthly plan.
