Which tags matter
Title and description
The title is the strongest on-page signal you control and usually the blue link in Google. The description doesn’t affect ranking, but it’s often the text people read before deciding to click.
Canonical
Tells Google which address is the main one when the same page is reachable at several. It should be the full address, starting with https.
Share tags
The og: tags control the title, text and image shown when the page is shared on LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp or Slack. Google doesn’t use them for ranking.

02 Questions
What people ask
Do I need a keywords meta tag?
No. Google has ignored it for many years, so the generator leaves it out.
How long should the title and description be?
Roughly 50 to 60 characters for a title and up to about 155 for a description. Google cuts by width, not count; the SERP preview shows where.
Will Google use exactly what I write?
Not always. It may rewrite the title or build its own snippet from the page when it thinks that fits the search better.
